SummaryAs the Project Manager, you will ensure the smooth and timely release of new product and platform projects. This position is ideal for someone who loves to work with cross-functional groups to plan, implement, and deliver a wide variety of customer-facing features and products and is comfortable working with technology. This role requires occasional travel to our Bethesda, MD headquarters. We welcome applicants who are local/on-site, hybrid, or remote.
Responsibilities- Work with product managers, developers, and other internal stakeholders to develop scope and objectives or projects. Coordinate across teams to determine impacts and dependencies.
- Develop detailed project plans. Set deadlines, assign responsibilities, and monitor and summarize the progress of projects.
- Manage changes to project scope, schedule, and costs. Document and communicate major project decisions and progress.
- Identify risks, create, and execute mitigation strategies. Report and escalate issues to management, as needed.
- Manage and maintain relationships between stakeholders and third parties or vendors.
- Look for opportunities for continuous improvement in process and communication and help to lead our growth as an organization.
- Create diagrams, spreadsheets, documentation using various productivity tools to document project needs or assist in the delivery of the project.
Qualifications- 2+ years of Project Management experience; knowledge of and experience in the security industry is a plus.
- Bachelor's degree or project management certification, along with relevant experience.
- Proven ability to deliver results effectively, set expectations, and identify risks to delivery.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and proficiency in visually presenting information.
- Ability to interact with people at all levels of the organization.
- Superb organizational skills with the ability to manage processes and ensure small details are not forgotten.
- Strong prioritization skills.
- Demonstrated ability to build strong and sustainable relationships.
- Must be independent, self-motivated, and willing to take ownership of projects and be fully accountable for delivery.
- Extensive problem-solving skills. Ability to understand and drive the resolution of complex critical issues.
- Ability to work proactively, think creatively, and foster dialogue across diverse groups.
- Experience in an agile development environment is preferred.
- Experience with Google Workspace and project management tools (i.e. Asana) preferred.
- Experience with new product commercialization and/or release trains preferred.
The compensation package for this full-time position includes a base salary range of $80,000 - $90,000. Individual compensation packages are based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location, training, and market conditions.
